What's happening at Country haven and the Miramichi in 2012
Each year at Country Haven we offer a number of special packages and special weeks that have become very popular throughout the years. Here is what we are offering for the 2012 season:
- - Throughout the 2012 season - "New Yorker Miramichi all inclusive weekend", 3 days 4 nights including airfare $1,950 Cdn or US funds per adult.
- - Throughout the 2012 season - "UK. Miramichi all inclusive Week", £2,500 GB including airfare, or £1,950 GB excluding airfare
- - Casting Clinics 2012 - July 1st to 7th & September 30th to October 6th. Instructors from East Coast Spey, N.J., USA
- - UK-Miramichi 2012, Fully Inclusive 7 day Atlantic Salmon Fly Fishing Adventure on the Famous Miramichi River, New Brunswick, Canada with Devon Fly Fishing's Bryan Martin, Sept 23d to 30th.
- - Ladies fly fishing week - Sept 1st to 7th
- - Throughout the 2012 season, Country Haven, in conjunction with NB Tourism, will again be offering a 1 day guided fishing package, starting at $175 Cdn.
- - For the month of August only, Country Haven, in conjunction with NB Tourism, will be offering a 1 day guided fishing package including a 1 night self-catering cottage rental for $250 Cdn. per adult based on double occupancy.
- - Atlantic fly fishing school on the Miramichi:
July 16 (date appx). One handed rod clinic.
July 17 (date appx) Two handed rod clinic.
These clinics will be instructed by Dennis and Verlie Grant and sponsored by Curtis Miramichi River Outfitters at (506) 843-2481.

We have an 85% rate of returning fishermen with only a few cancellations each year but if and when we do offer available dates due to cancellation at a special discounted rate, we post them here.

Miramichi Salmon Association, 57th Annual Boston Dinner

The Boston Dinner Committee wishes to announce that the Miramichi Salmon Association's Annual Dinner and Symposium will be held on Saturday, February 4th 2012. It will be held, once again, at the Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA. This is a great opportunity for a mid-winter break to support the Miramichi Salmon association while having a fantastic time. Contact your family and friends and arrange a special weekend for this distinctive opportunity to get together in a great setting, with many interesting activities to keep everyone involved and having fun.
